EVERYONE WENT TO THE FAIR

                         All the night owls in Titusville,Florida were at the Sand Point Park Fair on Saturday.  The Super Full Moon shone on the brightly colored Ferris Wheel and other amusement park rides at the fair on the shores of the Indian River.  Country music blasted from the stage.  At Paul's Smokehouse on the river on the south side of town a few people waited for the Super Moon to rise.  It was a clear night but a slight purple haze hugged Merritt Island across the Indian River as the largest and brightest moon this year rose faintly over the horizon.  In the restored downtown two plays were playing on the stages of the Titusville Playhouse. "Urintetown,The Musical" was full of satiric dialogue and songs sung by superb voices.  Upstairs on Emma's Attic's small stage, "Two Gentlrmen from Verona" was being performed as a Bro Romance set in Florida.   All the good ol' boys were rolling on the river in the dark on the alligator lined dirt roads of the National Wildlife Refuge.  "Support Wildlife-Throw A Party" was their motto as they downed a six pack of beer.

ATLAS BLASTED OFF FROM THE CANAVERAL AIR STATION RIGHT ON SCHEDULE ON FRIDAY,MAY 4,2012

                              THE PRIEST WAS BACK ON FRIDAY TO SEE THE ATLAS ROCKET LAUNCH CARRYING A MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS SATELLITE.  PERHAPS HE HAD PRAYED THAT THIS TIME AS HE STOOD IN THE BLAZING SUN ON THE SHORE OF THE INDIAN RIVER IN PAUL'S SMOKEHOUSE PARKING LOT ACROSS FROM THE KENNEDY SPACE CENTER VEHICLE  ASSEMBLY BUILDING THAT THE ATLAS ROCKET LAUNCH WOULD BE A GO.  THE PASTOR'S PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED AND THE ROCKET BLASTED OFF SOUTH OF THE MASSIVE VAB ON MERRITT ISLAND JUST AFTER THE LAUNCH WINDOW OPENED AT 2:42 PM.

"IS THAT ALL THERE IS?"\\

                        TEN OR TWENTY PEOPLE STOOD IN PAUL'S SMOKEHOUSE PARKING LOT AND WITNESSED THE EXPLOSION ACROSS THE RIVER AND THE RED FIRE BALL ASCEND INTO THE BLUE FLORIDA SKY.  A LITTLE LATER THE RUMBLE OF THE ROCKET LAUNCH CAME ACROSS THE RIVER AND COULD BE HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR ON THE  TITUSVILLE SHORE.  EVERYONE GOT BACK IN THEIR CARS AND TURNED ON THE RADIO.  THEY ALL LEFT THE PAUL'S PARKING LOT WITH PEGGY LEE SINGING ON THEIR RADIOS:  "IS THAT ALL THERE IS?"  YES AND IT'S A BLAST.

ATLAS SHRUGGED

     The priest left first when the Atlas Rocket didn't launch after it's first ten minute delay.  Next after a half hour at 3:00 the man whose two brothers and uncle had worked in the space program and now were all dead left to watch it at home if it did ever blast off during the two hour launch window. He associated launches with his dead brothers.  One worked at the Kennedy Space Center and the other had helped create the moon rovers in Pasadena.California.  He was the only one left now.  His wife had died in a nursing home In New Hampshire a year and a half ago.    The motorcyclist from Daytona left at 3:15 and would bike back down tomorrow if it is postponed until then.  His wife was out of town so he could do what he wants.  At 3:30 the skydivers from Montana told us that the Atlas rocket form the Canaveral Air Station across the Indian River  from Paul' Smokehouse in Titusville,Florida had been scrubbed until tomorrow.  So we all left Paul' Smokehouse parking lot before he opened at 4pm and vowed to return tomorrow afternoon to see the military satellite used to detect nuclear facilities launched on the Atlas rocket positoned across the river at the launch pad south of the Kennedy Space Center's massive Vehicle Assembly Building.  Then there were none.  So Atlas shrugged and said:  "Come back tomorrow.  It will be a blast."

WAITING FOR THE ATLAS ROCKET BLAST AND SPACE X NEXT WEEK

                              An Atlas Rocket will launch from Cape Canaveral Air Station today across the river from Titusville today at 2:46 pm.  I always go and photograph them.  Too bad Paul's Smokehouse is not open.  It doesn't open until 4.  Actually the launch window starts at 2:46 and lasts two hours.  So Paul's might be open and I could be in air conditioned comfort.  I ate there last night.  I had mango salsa haddock and fabulous coconut cream pie as I sat right next to the Indian River in Titusville,Florida.  Across the river you could see theNational Wildlife Refuge and the Kennedy Space Center complex.  The Space X rocket has been postponed for Monday.  More computer coordination is needed with NASA.  It may now blast off on Thursday,May 10,2012 just south of the  massive Vehicle Asembly Building  and Launch Pads at the Canaveral Air Station launch pads. There are still rockets galore in Titusville even after the end of the 20 year Space Shuttle program.  

NOTHING

     So today is nothing.  Tomorrow the Moon is in my sign so all will be fine.  Virgo and Gemini are giving me trouble today.  Tell me about it.

I COULDN'T SLEEP A WINK LAST NIGHT

I was tossing and turning all night.  I woke up turned on the light.  I looked at the clock it was the ;middle of the night.  The clock downstairs stuck four, my husband started to snore but I was tossing and turning all night.  You need 7 hours or more of sleep.  I got 5.  I only fell asleep because I ate a banana and put on some Ben Gay  to stop my restless leg syndrome.

To sleep per chance to dream/.  I had alow blood sugar a few times yesterday even though I ate breakfast,kunch and dinner.  But sweets seemed to trigger a surge.  I have to eat every two hours or else.  ridiculous to be this weak.. Hypoglycemia is my only diagnosis +Plavix.  Of course I rarely take the Plavix.  I think I may have run out.  Hmmmm.

I cancelled my trip to China.  It will be hot and I'm too weak.  It is the last week for the tour which goes to the Great Wall, a tea farm and Shanghai and Beigning.  I think monsoons mus tcome next because there are no tours for months. 

I didn't go in my pool and it was 86 for a high yesterday.
